Taylor Alison Swift is INSANE… But I Love Her

This week, TikTok and Instagram have been going crazy as Taylor Swift prepares to embark on the Eras Tour. This will be her first tour since 2018, which became the world’s highest grossing stadium tour headlined by a female artist. The reason Swifties are going feral is because Taylor has released 4 new albums since then (yes… you read that right), as well as 2 re-recorded albums that included previously unreleased songs. Taylor claims her show will journey through ALL her eras, meaning she’s even planning to play songs from her much older albums. Everyone is dying to know how Taylor is planning to pull this off in a 3 hour show.

If I wasn’t such a huge Swiftie, I would be skeptical. There’s lots of people who believe there’s no way Taylor can live up to the expectations. But, being a fan of her for so long has built major trust. I know I am biased, but don’t come for me. Nobody does it like Taylor. She has a superhuman ability to write catchy and lyrically emotional songs that make other artists dull in comparison.

I am constantly in awe of Taylor and the impact she has had on the music industry. I mean who else re-records their entire discography to regain ownership of their art? Who else releases 6 bonus tracks mere hours after putting out an entirely new album? Who else pumps out music the way she does? What other artist gets a city re-named after them to honour the opening day of their tour? Yup… Glendale Arizona is currently called Swift City.

Taylor has used her creativity to build herself into more than just and artist. To me, she is her own corporation. She meticulously plans things out, hinting at releases years prior and creating coded messages for fans to uncover more about her plans. Her easter eggs have taken on a life of their own. It has gotten to the point where every single thing Taylor says or does is analyzed for clues. She’s that good. I feel like her teasers have reached a “Marvel Level” of organization and interconnectedness. With her dedication, I just know the Eras Tour will be a huge success, with crazy costume changes, all the songs fans are dying to hear, and the performance quality to go along with it.

Taylor also has a jam packed list of special guests slotted to join her tour, such as HAIM, Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams and more. Knowing Taylor, I have a feeling Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez are also secretly in the lineup just waiting to blow our minds.

Oh, and did I mention she released 4 more songs to honour the start of the Eras Tour. I swear Taylor just likes to make social media go crazy for the fun of it. The tour opens tomorrow and I am so excited to see what she is going to produce. I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for some international tour dates to I can witness her amazingness in person. Until then, living vicariously through others will have to do.
